Quilvo now offers an MCP server, which means you can connect your AI assistant to Quilvo and have it help you manage your projects and writing sessions.

If you haven't come across it before, MCP is the standard that lets AI assistants plug into other tools and do things on your behalf. You might already be using an assistant to help with your calendar, your to-do list and other admin. Now you can add Quilvo directly to your agent's list of abilities with our MCP server.

Quilvo's MCP tools let you interact with most of Quilvo directly: creating and updating projects, setting targets and logging writing sessions, managing your submissions, markets and contacts, and even working with your planning data, like characters and timeline events. Anything you'd normally click through in the app, you can now just ask for.

Use Cases

Submissions assistant

Keeping on track with your submissions can be a real slog. With your AI assistant connected to Quilvo, a lot of those tasks become much easier. Ask it in a few words to pull up the contact details for your next submission, or to list everything you've had out for more than sixty days with no reply. You can even set up automations, like having your agent update a submission's status on Quilvo the moment a response lands in your inbox.

Daily writing motivator

Start your session by asking your agent what your projects look like and which goals you've got coming up. Finished for the day? Tell it how many words you wrote and it'll log the session for you, no forms, no clicking through menus. Ask where your streak stands or how close you are to this month's target, and it'll tell you in a sentence. It'll be a breeze.

Worldbuilding sidekick

If you're using Quilvo's planning tools, your agent can reach those too. Ask it to add a new character, note a relationship between two of them, drop an entry into your codex or add an event to your timeline, all without having to stop and break your flow while you're deep in a draft.

Setting Up

Setting up the Quilvo MCP depends a lot on which agent you're using. The easiest way to get going is to point your agent at our docs page and ask it how to set the MCP up. Most assistants will happily walk you through the rest themselves.
